Omar Khribin
Omar Khribin ( ar, عمر خربين, can also be spelled as Kharbin or Kh'rbin; born 15 January 1994) is a Syrian professional Association football, footballer who plays as a Forward (association football), forward for Emirati Shabab Al Ahli Club, Shabab Al Ahli on loan from Al Wahda FC, Al-Wahda (Abu Dhabi) and the Syria national football team, Syrian national team. He can be deployed as a left winger or second striker. In 2017, Khribin became the first Syrian ever to win the Asian Footballer of the Year. Syrian Premier League
The Syrian Premier League ( ar, الدوري السوري الممتاز) is a professional association football league in Syria and the top division in of the Syrian football league system. The league comprises 12 teams and operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the Syrian League 1st Division. The Syrian Premier League was founded in 1966, unifying the local leagues that had existed previously. Seasons mostly run from August to May.
