Olympic High School (Silverdale, Washington)
Olympic High School is a secondary school located in Bremerton, Washington, United States. It is one of six secondary schools in the Central Kitsap School District. OHS educates grades 9-12. Course offerings include several Advanced Placement courses, a College in the High School program in partnership with Central Washington University, and an advanced Career and Technical Education program called Project Lead the Way. The school also offers students programs in vocal and instrumental music, and Sports medicine. In 2017, community support allowed the school to begin a major modernization project. The center of the building will be demolished. A two-story building will be constructed in its place. The addition will include career and technical classrooms, an updated library, auditorium and commons areas. The project will not be complete by fall 2018. Scott James Forstall (born 1969) is an American software engineer, known for leading the original software development team for the iPhone and iPad, and Broadway producer, known for co-producing the Tony award-winning ''Fun Home'' and ''Eclipsed'' with Molly Forstall, his wife, among others. Christian Welp
Christian Ansgar Welp (January 2, 1964 – March 1, 2015) was a German professional basketball player. During his playing career, he was a , center. He played three seasons in the NBA. He was the MVP of the 1993 EuroBasket. College career Welp became the leading scorer in Washington Huskies history, as a college basketball player. He scored 2,073 points for the Huskies, and was a three-time All-Pac-10 Conference selection. Welp was the Pac-10 Player of the Year in 1986, and helped lead the Huskies to consecutive conference regular-season titles. Welp was inducted into the Husky Hall of Fame, in 2001. Bree Schaaf
Bree Schaaf (born May 28, 1980) is an American skeleton racer who competed from 2002 to 2007, then switched over to bobsled as a pilot from 2007 to 2014. Her best Skeleton World Cup finish was sixth at Calgary in November 2006. Early years In high school, she competed in track, volleyball, and basketball before playing volleyball exclusively. She earned a scholarship for volleyball and played collegiately at Portland State University in Oregon. Schaaf graduated with high honors and a BA in anthropology. Blue Scholars is an American hip hop duo based in Seattle, Washington, created in 2002 while the members, DJ Sabzi (Saba Mohajerjasbi) and MC Geologic (George Quibuyen), were students at University of Washington. The name "Blue Scholars" is a play on the term "blue collar," an idiom for workers who often earn hourly wages for manual labor. The International Basketball League (IBL) was a semi-professional men's basketball league featuring teams from the West Coast of the United States. In 2010 the Albany Legends became the first team in the Northeastern United States to join. The IBL also sometimes featured teams from China and Japan which temporarily relocated to the United States for the IBL season. The IBL season typically ran from the end of March through July.
