Oluf Christian Müller
Oluf Christian Müller (19 October 1876 – 7 January 1938) was a Norwegian businessperson and politician for the Liberal Left Party. He was born in Sunndalen as a son of vicar Christian Høy Müller (1834–1882) and Mathea Herlofine Herlofsen (1847–1905). He attended middle school in Kristiansund, and stayed briefly in Kristiania, Germany and England. He started working in the company of his maternal grandfather in 1896, before taking over as manager at ''Goma Smørfabrik'' in 1900. Having expanded in 1934 to produce soap as well (''Goma Margarin- og Saapefabrik''), he remained manager until his death. He was a member of Kristiansund city council from 1910 to 1913, 1919 to 1925, 1928 to 1931 and 1934 to 1937. He was elected to the Parliament of Norway in 1918 from the urban constituency Kristiansund, and was re-elected in 1921 from the Market towns of Møre og Romsdal county. Rauma Line
The Rauma Line ( no, Raumabanen) is a long railway between the town of Åndalsnes (in Rauma Municipality in Møre og Romsdal county), and the village of Dombås (in Dovre Municipality in Oppland county), in Norway. Running down the Romsdalen valley, the line opened between 1921 and 1924 as a branch of the Dovre Line, which connects to the cities of Oslo and Trondheim. Originally intended as the first stage to connect Ålesund, and possibly also Molde and Kristiansund, no extensions have ever been realized. The unelectrified line is served four times daily with Norwegian State Railways' Class 93, although in the summer the service only operates from Åndalsnes to Bjorli as a tourist service. CargoLink operates a daily freight train. The line features two horseshoe curves and has a elevation drop. Among the line's features is the Kylling Bridge and views of the mountainous valley. Kristiansund (, ; historically spelled Christianssund and earlier named Fosna) is a municipality on the western coast of Norway in the Nordmøre district of Møre og Romsdal county. The administrative center of the municipality is the town of Kristiansund (established in 1742), which is the major town for the whole Nordmøre region.
