Olsen-banden Junior
''Olsen-banden Junior'' is a 2001 Danish family-comedy heist film. It is a prequel to the long running Danish film series ''Olsen-banden'', and an implementation of the concept used by the Swedish ''Olsen-banden'' remakes prequels ''Lilla Jönssonligan''. The film is also a sequel to the Christmas calendar '' Olsen-bandens første kup'' from 1999. The film premiered on December 14, 2001. The film was a moderate success compared to the original series and the Swedish and Norwegian equivalents. The film later received a novelization of the same name. Plot In the year of 1958, Egon Olsen, the child genius, tries to escape the orphanage where he lives by setting himself up to be adopted by a rich couple. Problems arise when it turns out that the couple are rocket scientists who want to use him as a test subject to be sent into space. Peter Flinth
Peter Flinth (born 7 November 1964) is a Danish film director. Early life and education Peter Flinth was born on 7 November 1964 in Copenhagen, Denmark. He studied film studies at the University of Copenhagen in 1984-86 and was educated on the Danish Film School's director line in 1989-1993. He was part of the Danish Film School's golden class of 1993, with notable graduates such as Thomas Vinterberg. He was admitted to the National Film School of Denmark and in the same time worked as an assistant director on a number of Danish feature films, including most notably Ole Bornedal's '' Nightwatch'', before graduating in 1993 with the short film ''Den Sidste Færge''. Career Flinth made his feature film debut in 1997 with the '' Eye of the Eagle''. Ole Thestrup
Ole Svane Thestrup (12 March 1948 – 2 February 2018) was a Danish actor. He appeared in many Danish films, particularly those directed by Anders Thomas Jensen, as well as television and theatre roles. He had a recurring role in the political drama series ''Borgen''. Early and personal life Ole Thestrup was born in Nibe, North Jutland, on 12 March 1948. He initially had ambitions to become a guitarist, before turning to acting. He joined Aarhus Theatre aged 25, completing his acting training in 1976. He later also worked at the Royal Danish Theatre in Copenhagen. Thestrup had a history of alcohol abuse, which contributed to his 1988 imprisonment at Headingley Correctional Institution near Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada after he caused disruption on board a British Airways flight from London to Los Angeles, leading to an emergency landing.
