Olinda Cho
Olinda Cho Yu Yen (; born 24 May 1980) is a Singaporean singer, actress and entrepreneur. Professional background Cho emerged as the second runner-up of the first season of ''Singapore Idol'' in 2004, behind Sylvester Sim and Taufik Batisah. Cho released her debut album, ''Rewind'', in October 2007. She also rearranged songs including the Singapore national anthem, Majulah Singapura, which was broadcast for Starhub's national day commercial, Majulah Moms. In September 2013, Cho started a modelling agency, NU Models, with Sheila Sim. In 2016, Cho participated in the Singaporean audition for the first season of ''Sing! China'', then tentatively known as ''China Super Vocal'', and emerged as the winner for Singapore. Cho was approached directly by Sing! China to participate in the second season in 2017. ''Sing! China'' (; formerly ) is a Chinese singing competition television series broadcast on Zhejiang Television. It premiered during the summer on 15 July 2016. It is a re-branded version of '' The Voice of China'', a show based on the original ''The Voice of Holland''. It has aired six seasons and aims to find new singing talent (solo or duets, professional and amateur) contested by aspiring singers drawn from public auditions. The winner is determined by live audience voting by SMS text. They receive a record deal with various labels for winning the competition. Sing! China (season 2)
The second season of the Chinese reality talent show ''Sing! China'' premiered on 14 July 2017 on Zhejiang Television. Jay Chou and Na Ying returned as coaches. Eason Chan and Liu Huan replaced Wang Feng and Harlem Yu as coaches. The show is hosted by Hu Qiaohua, who had previously hosted the finals in the last season and replaced Li Yong, who left after just one season. Sheila Sim (; born 7 June 1984) is a Singaporean actress and model. Early life and education Sim was educated at Radin Mas Primary School and CHIJ Saint Theresa's Convent. She later studied at Nanyang Polytechnic but dropped out after three months. Sim graduated from Marketing Institute of Singapore with a Diploma in Sales and Marketing and Curtin Singapore with a Degree in Advertising and Marketing respectively.
