Olga Jevrić
Olga Jevrić (29 September 1922 – 10 February 2014) was a Serbian sculptor. Biography Olga Jevrić was born in Belgrade in 1922. In 1941 she graduated from high school, but initially failed the entrance exam to study in the Sculpture department of the Academy of Fine Arts. The following year, she successfully enrolled both in the Academy of Fine Arts, and the Academy of Music in Belgrade. In 1948 Jevrić graduated from the sculpture department of AFA, in the class of Professor Sreten Stojanović. She got an M.A. degree in 1949 (special course) in the class of the aforementioned teacher. She also studied art history in Belgrade. She was accepted as a member of Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts (SASA) and SLUJ in 1950. Her first exhibition was in 1948, and from that time on has been included in and the subject of many exhibitions both at home and abroad. She was the recipient of numerous honors. Sculpture is the branch of the visual arts that operates in three dimensions. Sculpture is the three-dimensional art work which is physically presented in the dimensions of height, width and depth. Sreten Stojanović
Sreten Stojanović ( sr-cyr, Сретен Стојановић; 2 February 1898 – 29 October 1960) was a Serbian sculptor and art critic. His artistic individuality was best observed in portraits made of various materials. Biography He was born on 15 February 1898 in Prijedor in Bosnia and Herzegovina, in the house of Orthodox priests who ''"preached the faith for strength of people and who imagined Russia to be something that is ours or more beautiful, bigger, more Orthodox, closer to God and more powerful than anything that was German or Turkish”'', as he wrote in his autobiography. Ana Bešlić
Ana Bešlić (; 16 March 1912, Šarapusta near Bajmok – 27 February 2008, Belgrade) was a Serbian sculptor. Biography She was born in a Sárapuszta (modern-day Šarapusta) near the Bačkan town of Bajmok, between Sombor and Subotica, at that time in Bács-Bodrog County, Kingdom of Hungary, Austria-Hungary to a family of Bunjevac origins. Ana Bešlić was one of the most important representatives of modern sculpture in Yugoslavia and Serbia. By genre, she belonged to the group of artists that, since the 1950s, became recognisable by their artistic curiosity and non-mainstream approach, being the pioneers of changing of sculptor's style in Yugoslavia. Still, her creations were mostly oriented towards the making of monuments. Marija Vuković (sculptor)
Marija Vuković is a Montenegrin athlete specializing in the high jump. She won Montenegro's first ever European Athletics Championship medal with silver in the high jump at Munich 2022. As a 17-year-old Vuković was the 2009 European Junior Championship silver medallist. By winning the 2010 World Junior Championships, she became her country's first ever medallist in a global athletics competition. Biography Marija Vuković was born in Knin, the then-capital of unrecognized Republic of Serbian Krajina. In 1995 her family settled as refugees in Cetinje.
