Oleksandr Saliuk Jr. ( uk, Олександр Салюк, молодший, born July 16, 1978, in Kyiv, in the Ukrainian SSR of the Soviet Union – in present-day Ukraine) is a rally driver from Ukraine. Saliuk won the Ukrainian Rally Championship in 2006, 2007, 2009, 2010 and 2012. In 2011, Saliuk contests in the Production World Rally Championship (PWRC) with the Mentos Ascania Racing Team driving a Mitsubishi Lancer Evo IX. The 2010 Rally de Portugal was the 44th Rally de Portugal and the sixth round of the 2010 World Rally Championship season. The rally took place over May 27–30, and was based in Faro, the capital city of the Algarve region. The 2011 Rally Argentina was the sixth round of the 2011 World Rally Championship season. The rally took place over 26–29 May, and was based in Villa Carlos Paz, in the province of Córdoba. The rally was also the third round of the Production World Rally Championship. Argentina returned to the WRC calendar for the first time since 2009, after the event was a part of the Intercontinental Rally Challenge in 2010. Sébastien Loeb took his third win of the season and the 65th WRC win of his career after a come-from-behind victory over the final two days. The 2011 Rally Italia Sardegna was the fifth round of the 2011 World Rally Championship season. The rally took place over 6–8 May, and was based in Olbia, the fourth-largest town on the island of Sardinia. The rally was also the third round of the Super 2000 World Rally Championship and the second round of the WRC Academy. 2011 Jordan Rally
The 2011 Jordan Rally was the fourth round of the 2011 World Rally Championship season. The rally took place over 14–16 April, and was based beside the Dead Sea, some from the country's capital, Amman. The rally was also be the second round of the Super 2000. The rally concluded with the closest finish in the history of the World Rally Championship. Heading into the final ''Power Stage'', Jari-Matti Latvala held a lead of 0.5 seconds over Sébastien Ogier, but Ogier overhauled his rival by just 0.2 seconds after winning the stage by 0.04 seconds over Latvala's Ford teammate Mikko Hirvonen, and crucially, 0.7 seconds over Latvala. The 2011 Rally de Portugal was the third round of the 2011 World Rally Championship season. It was the season's first European event held on gravel roads. The rally took place over 24–27 March, beginning with a super special stage in the city of Lisbon. The rally was also the second round of the Production World Rally Championship and the inaugural event of the WRC Academy.
