Stockton University is a public university in Galloway Township, New Jersey. It is part of New Jersey's public system of higher education. It is named for Richard Stockton, one of the New Jersey signers of the U.S. Declaration of Independence. Founded in 1969, Stockton accepted its charter class in 1971. Interstate 295 (I-295) in Delaware, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania is an auxiliary Interstate Highway, designated as a bypass around Philadelphia and a partial beltway of Trenton, New Jersey. The route begins at a junction with I-95 south of Wilmington, Delaware, and runs to an interchange with I-95 in Bristol Township, Pennsylvania. The highway heads east from I-95 and crosses the Delaware River into New Jersey on the Delaware Memorial Bridge concurrent with U.S. Route 40 (US 40). Upper Pittsgrove Township is a township in Salem County, New Jersey, United States. As of the 2010 United States Census, the township's population was 3,505, reflecting an increase of 37 (+1.1%) from the 3,468 counted in the 2000 Census, which had in turn increased by 328 (+10.4%) from the 3,140 counted in the 1990 Census. Alloway Township is a township in Salem County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. As of the 2020 United States census, the township's population was 3,283, a decrease of 184 (−5.3%) from the 2010 census count of 3,467, which in turn reflected an increase of 693 (+25.0%) from the 2,774 counted in the 2000 census.
