Oldfields School
Oldfields School is a college preparatory school for girls in grades 8 through 12 in Sparks Glencoe, Maryland. It was founded in Baltimore County, Maryland in 1867 by Anna Austen McCulloch and is the oldest girls' boarding school in Maryland. Oldfield's School has approximately 180 boarding and day students. Among the school's notable graduates was Wallis Warfield Simpson, who became the Duchess of Windsor. Athletics In October 2014 and 2015, the Oldfields School Cross-Country team won the Interscholastic Athletic Association of Maryland C Conference Championships. Abir Muhaisen
Abir Muhaisen ( ar, عبير محيسن; born 1973) was adopted by King Hussein of Jordan and his third wife, Queen Alia, after Muhaisen's biological mother was killed by a plane crash at a Palestinian refugee camp in Amman, Jordan in 1976. Helen Pitts-Blasi
Helen Pitts (born May 23, 1974 in Monkton, Maryland) is an American trainer of Thoroughbred racehorses. Early life Born on a farm, Helen Pitts' parents were both involved in steeplechase racing. She rode ponies and horses from the time she was a young girl, competing in such things as steeplechase racing, pony racing, and fox hunting. She is a graduate of Oldfields School, an all-girls boarding and day school, which produces exceptional riders. She graduated with a degree in business from Villa Julie College. Training career After finishing her education, Helen Pitts went to work for thoroughbred trainer Francis Campitelli where she stayed for several years before joining flat racing trainer, Kenneth McPeek. She eventually became McPeek's assistant-trainer and when he decided to leave the business for a time, she became head trainer on July 1, 2005. Alice Du Pont Mills
Alice Frances du Pont Mills (December 13, 1912 – March 13, 2002) was an American aviator, thoroughbred race horse breeder and owner, environmentalist, philanthropist and a member of the prominent du Pont family. Biography Born in Wilmington, Delaware, the daughter of A. Felix du Pont (1879–1948) and Mary Chichester (1878–1965), after graduating from Oldfields School in Glencoe, Maryland, the wealthy Alice du Pont pursued a wide variety of interests.
