Old Dublin Society
The Old Dublin Society ( ga, Cumann Seandacht Átha Cliath) was founded in 1934. Its mission is to promote the history of Dublin and its citizens. Membership Membership of the society is open to everyone interested in the history of Dublin and Dubliners, most of whom are amateurs though there are some professional historians who are members. Dublin (; , or ) is the capital and largest city of Republic of Ireland, Ireland. English Language
English is a West Germanic language of the Indo-European language family, with its earliest forms spoken by the inhabitants of early medieval England.
