Olaf Lange (basketball)
Olaf Lange (born March 30, 1972) is an assistant coach for New York Liberty in the WNBA and for the Australian Opals National Team. Lange has made many different stops during his coaching career in both the WNBA and EuroLeague. He's been an assistant coach in the WNBA for both the Chicago Sky and San Antonio Silver Stars. Lange has also experienced multiple head coaching positions with Ros Casares, Logan Thunder, and UMMC Ekaterinburg. Lange also has coached for the German, Russian, and currently the Australian Basketball National Teams. Coaching career National Teams Germany Lange was named the head coach the German U20 Women's National Team in 1999, a position which he held until 2002. Russian Women's Basketball Premier League
The Russian Women's Basketball Premier League is the premier women's basketball competition in Russia. The category consists of 11 teams playing a total of 20 rounds. At the end of the regular season the top eight teams play the play-offs throughout April, ending in a 5 matches final. UMMC Ekaterinburg is the most successful team in the championship with 15 titles, including a record 13-year winning streak. Defunct team CSKA Moscow, later relocated to Samara as VBM-SGAU Samara (9), Dynamo Moscow (4) and Spartak Moscow Region (2) follow in the palmares. Edwige Lawson-Wade
Edwige Lawson (born May 14, 1979), also Edwige Lawson-Wade, is a French former professional women's basketball player. A point guard, Lawson started her professional career at the age of 17. She has played in Bordeaux, Aix-en-Provence, and Valenciennes in France. She has also played in the WNBA for the San Antonio Silver Stars, New York Liberty, the Houston Comets and the Seattle Storm, and also for CSKA Moscow in the Russian Superleague. Lawson was also the starting point guard for the France national women's basketball team, with whom she won a silver medal at the 2012 London Olympic Games. James Wade (basketball)
James Wade (born August 15, 1975), known as Coco, is an American-French basketball head coach for the Chicago Sky of the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA). Wade won the WNBA's Coach of the Year and Executive of the Year awards in 2019 and 2022 respectively, and led the Sky to their first WNBA Championship in 2021. He was previously an assistant basketball coach for the Minnesota Lynx of the WNBA and for UMMC Ekaterinburg of the Euroleague and Russian Premier Basketball League. The Los Angeles Sparks (LA Sparks) are an American professional basketball team based in Los Angeles. Ros Casares Godella was a professional women's basketball team based in Godella, Spain. It played in the Liga Femenina de Baloncesto between 1996 and 2012, when it resigned to play in EuroLeague and Spanish League. It continued playing in Primera División Femenina, third tier of Spanish women's basketball, until 2014 when the club was integrated in Valencia Basket as its women's section. Sandy Brondello
Sandra Anne "Sandy" Brondello (born 20 August 1968) is an Australian women's basketball coach, and the current head coach of the New York Liberty of the WNBA. Brondello played in Australia, Germany and the WNBA before retiring to become a coach. The 5 ft 7 in (1.70 m) Brondello is one of Australia's all-time best shooting guards. She played on Australia's "Opals" national team at four Summer Olympics, and won three medals (one bronze, two silvers). She attended the Australian Institute of Sport in 1986–1987, and was inducted to the Australian Basketball Hall of Fame in 2010. Andrei Gennadyevich Kirilenko (russian: Андрей Геннадьевич Кириленко; born February 18, 1981) is a Russian-American basketball executive and former professional basketball player, currently the commissioner of the Russian Basketball Federation. At age fifteen, Kirilenko began playing professional basketball in the Russian Basketball Super League 1, Russian Basketball Super League.
