Oiartzun Kirol Elkartea is a Spanish football club from Oiartzun, Gipuzkoa, founded in 1975. It is best known for its women's section, established in 1981. History Oiartzun was one of the leading teams in the first years of organized women's football in Spain, winning the national championship in 1987 and 1988 and the national league in 1991. However, in 1993 the team was relegated for financial reasons to the second tier, which became four years later the top category as the División de Honor was disbanded. Meanwhile, Oiartzun reached the semifinals of the Copa de la Reina in 1996 and 1997. When RFEF launched the Superliga Femenina in 2001 Oiartzun was registered in second tier Primera Nacional. Oiartzun ( eu, Oiartzun, es, Oyarzun) is a town and municipality located in the Basque Country (greater region), Basque Country, in the province of Gipuzkoa lying at the foot of the massif Aiako Harria (Peñas de Aya in Spanish). Etymology The name traces back to ''Oiasso'' or ''Oiarso'', a Roman Empire, Roman town closely connected to the ''Arditurri'' mines in the massif of Aiako Harria, which contained large amounts of silver and copper. However, it has been pinpointed to the current border town of Irun, so the name may have referred to the whole area. Geography A Oiartzun (river), river bearing the same name meanders through the meadows and neighbourhoods of this sparse municipality. That is one of its main features, it is scattered in different quarters across the valley. Sevilla FC Femenino is a Spanish women's football team, representing Sevilla FC. It currently competes in . History Collaboration with CD Híspalis In 2004 Sevilla FC signed a collaboration with local Superliga Femenina team CD Híspalis. While remaining an independent club, Híspalis played for the next three seasons in Sevilla FC's training facilities using its name, kit and badge. The team improved significantly and in 2006 it was the runner-up of the Superliga, losing what would have been their first title to RCD Espanyol on the goal average. Sevilla's Auxiliadora Jiménez was the season's top scorer. Sevilla/Híspalis declined as fast as it emerged, and in 2008 it ended last in the table and relegated to the second tier.
