State Route 345 (SR 345) is a north–south state highway in the eastern portion of the U.S. state of Ohio. The southern terminus of SR 345 is at a signalized intersection with the Ohio State Route 13, SR 13/Ohio State Route 37, SR 37 concurrency in New Lexington, Ohio, New Lexington. Its northern terminus is at a T-intersection with U.S. Route 22 (Ohio), U.S. Route 22 (US 22) in the unincorporated community of East Fultonham, Ohio, East Fultonham. Route description SR 345 traverses the northeastern quadrant of Perry County, Ohio, Perry County and the southwestern corner of Muskingum County, Ohio, Muskingum County. This state route is not included as a component of the National Highway System (United States), National Highway System (NHS). The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT; ) is the administrative department of the Ohio state government responsible for developing and maintaining all state and U.S. roadways outside of municipalities and all Interstates except the Ohio Turnpike. In addition to highways, the department also helps develop public transportation and public aviation programs. ODOT is headquartered in Columbus, Ohio. Formerly, under the direction of Michael Massa, ODOT initiated a series of interstate-based Travel Information Centers, which were later transferred to local sectors. The Director of Transportation is part of the Governor's Cabinet. ODOT has divided the state into 12 regional districts to facilitate development.
