State Route 181 (SR 181) is a east–west state highway in the northern portion of the U.S. state of Ohio. The western terminus of SR 181 is at a signalized intersection with Ohio State Route 61, SR 61 in downtown Crestline, Ohio, Crestline, and its eastern terminus is at a T-intersection with Ohio State Route 309, SR 309 approximately west of Ontario, Ohio, Ontario. Designated in the middle of the 1920s, SR 181 primarily serves as a short route connecting traffic between Crestline and Ontario. For most of its lifespan, SR 181 had its western terminus at the signalized intersection where U.S. Route 30 in Ohio, U.S. Route 30 (US 30) had crossed the Crawford County, Ohio, Crawford–Richland County, Ohio, Richland county line. The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT; ) is the administrative department of the Ohio state government responsible for developing and maintaining all state and U.S. roadways outside of municipalities and all Interstates except the Ohio Turnpike. MrSID (pronounced Mister Sid) is an acronym that stands for ''multiresolution seamless image database''. It is a file format (filename extension ''.sid'') developed and patented by LizardTech (in October 2018 absorbed into Extensis) for encoding of georeferenced raster graphics, such as orthophotos. MrSID originated as the result of research efforts at Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL). Crestline is a village in Crawford and Richland Counties in the U.S. state of Ohio. Crestline's population was 4,630 at the 2010 census. It is the third largest municipality in Crawford County. The Crawford County portion of Crestline is part of the Bucyrus Micropolitan Statistical Area, while the small portion of the village that extends into Richland County is considered part of the Mansfield Metropolitan Statistical Area. History First came the railroad, and then came the town.
