Ohel Shem
Ohel Shem ( he, אהל-שם) is an Israeli secular high school located in the city of Ramat Gan. It has about 1,550 students studying in 45 classes, from ninth to twelfth grade, and about 160 teachers and 40 staff. The campus contains, in addition to the classrooms, a library, a community center (''Eshkol Paiss'') comprising an auditorium and chemistry, physics, biology, biotechnology and robotics laboratories, a gym, cafeterias, sports fields, lawns and trees. Projects The school has a newspaper, "Dugri", a website built by students only, theater productions, a students band, and a teachers band. The school is part of the MUN project. History The school was founded as a private institution in 1934 by Dr. Alexander Kohler, who also founded the Gymnasia Balfour in Tel Aviv in 1931. Dov Weissglas ( he, דב ויסגלס; born 4 October 1946) is an Israeli lawyer and businessman who was involved in the Middle East peace process during the term of Prime Minister Ariel Sharon. Biography Dov Weissglas was born in Tel Aviv to an affluent family and grew up in Ramat Gan. After graduating from the Ohel Shem high school, he served in the Israel Defense Forces, and began studying law at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem at age 19. Legal career After graduating with an LLB and interning at the Tel Aviv District Court, he received a law license in 1971. That same year, he began working at the Tel Aviv law firm Moritz & Margolis. Gil Shohat ( he, גיל שוחט, born 7 September 1973) is an Israeli classical music composer, Conducting, conductor, pianist and lecturer. Biography Gil Shohat was born in Tel Aviv. His mother is ''Ha'aretz'' theatre critic Tzipora (Tzipi) Shohat. He grew up in Ramat Gan. As a child, he attended a music program for gifted children at Tel Aviv University. Judy Shalom Nir-Mozes ( he, ג'ודי שלום ניר מוזס; born 14 August 1958) is an Israeli socialite, investor and talk show host.
