Oh My Gosh (Basement Jaxx Song)
"Oh My Gosh" is a song by British electronic music duo Basement Jaxx. It was released on 14 March 2005 as the lead single from the band's greatest hits album, '' The Singles''. Vula Malinga and rapper Skillah are two vocals contributor in the song. The song achieved moderate success when it peaked at number eight in the UK Singles Chart and was also nominated for the Popjustice £20 Music Prize. Worldwide, "Oh My Gosh" reached number four in Finland and peaked within the top 40 in Australia, Flemish Belgium and Ireland. Background and composition The duo sat down and wrote the song specially as a single for the album. Ratcliffe personally felt encouraged by it; he thought it was a good way to ease them back into songwriting process. Onome Onokohwomo (born 8 July 1989), better known by his stage name Yung6ix, is a Nigerian hip hop recording artist. Biography History Onokohwomo was born and raised in Warri, Delta State. He grew up as the oldest child in a family of five, and took a strong interest in music at a young age. While a student at FGC Warri, he engaged in rap battles and developed a friendlier relationship with like-minded students, which led to the formation of the hip hop group G-Squad. The group soon began performing at various talent shows in Delta State. Music remained their unmatched and true passion. Charlie Berens (born April 27, 1987) is an American journalist, comedian, and creator of "Manitowoc Minute". He has been featured on FOX, CBS, ''Funny or Die'', TBS Digital, ''Variety'', and MTV News. His observational humor often focuses on the Midwest. Sabrina Fredrica Washington (born 27 October 1978) is a British singer who originally rose to fame as the lead singer of garage/ R&B girl group Mis-Teeq.
