''Oh Islam'' ( ar, وا اسلاماه, translit. Wa Islamah, and also released as ''Love and Faith'') is a 1961 Egyptian drama film directed by Enrico Bomba and Andrew Marton. Enrico Bomba
Enrico Bomba (born 2 August 1922-?) was an Italian movie producer, director, and screenwriter. He also worked in television. He was born in Amatrice, Province of Rieti, Italy. Career Bomba worked in various capacities from 1949 onward. In 1952, he directed his first film, ''Prigionieri delle tenebre'' (''Prisoners of Darkness''); and in the following year he commenced a film called ''Jezebel'', although it was never completed. In the 1960s/1970s, he worked steadily as a director and screenwriter, directing two films featuring Agent 777 (under the name Henry Bay) and two ''decamerotici'' (films inspired by ''The Decameron''). In 1975, he dedicated himself to dubbing foreign language films, working as director and dialogist. Shajar Al-Durr
Shajar al-Durr ( ar, شجر الدر, lit=Tree of Pearls), also Shajarat al-Durr (), whose royal name was al-Malika ʿAṣmat ad-Dīn ʾUmm-Khalīl Shajar ad-Durr (; from her nickname , 'mother of Khalil'; died 28 April 1257), was a ruler of Egypt. She was the wife of As-Salih Ayyub, and later of Izz al-Din Aybak, the first sultan of the Mamluk Bahri dynasty. Prior to becoming Ayyub's wife, she was a child slave and Ayyub's concubine. In political affairs, Shajar al-Durr played a crucial role after the death of her first husband during the Seventh Crusade against Egypt (1249–1250 AD). Egypt has submitted films for consideration for the Academy Award for Best International Feature Film since 1958, when Youssef Chahine's ''Cairo Station'' became both the first African and the first Arab film to contend for the award. This is a list of submissions to the 34th Academy Awards for Best Foreign Language Film. The Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film was created in 1956 by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences to honour non-English-speaking films produced outside the United States. The award is handed out annually, and is accepted by the winning film's director, although it is considered an award for the submitting country as a whole. Countries are invited by the Academy to submit their best films for competition according to strict rules, with only one film being accepted from each country. Silvana Pampanini (25 September 1925 – 6 January 2016) was an Italian film actress, director and singer. She was also the niece of the well-known soprano of the golden era of opera, Dame Rosetta Pampanini. Luisa Mattioli (23 March 1936 – October 2021) was an Italian actress. She was active in cinema and television during the 1950s and 1960s, and was notably the third wife of Roger Moore. Biography Mattioli met Roger Moore in 1961 while filming '' Romulus and the Sabines''.
