Ognjen Koroman
Ognjen Koroman (, ; born 19 September 1978) is a Serbian football manager and former professional player. As a player, he represented Serbia and Montenegro at the 2006 FIFA World Cup. Club career After coming through the youth systems Željezničar and Red Star Belgrade, Koroman played for Radnički Kragujevac, Spartak Subotica, and OFK Beograd in the First League of FR Yugoslavia. He spent a year and a half with each side, before moving abroad in the 2002 winter transfer window. While playing for Russian Premier League clubs Dynamo Moscow, Krylia Sovetov Samara, and Terek Grozny, Koroman amassed 94 appearances and scored 16 goals in the top flight, being named in the league's best 33 players for the 2002 season. PFC Krylia Sovetov Samara (russian: Профессиональный футбольный клуб «Крылья Советов» Самара) is a football club from Russia based in Samara. It returned to the Russian Premier League for the 2021–22 season. In 2004, they finished third in the Russian Premier League. History Krylia Sovetov was founded in Kuybyshev (now Samara) in 1942. On 21 April 1946 the team played its first match in the highest division in the USSR in Alma-Ata, in which they lost 1–2 to Zenit Leningrad. Fudbalski klub Smederevo 1924 ( sr-cyr, Фудбалски клуб Смедерево 1924), commonly known as Smederevo, is a Serbian professional football club based in Smederevo. During Yugoslavia the club mainly played in amateur ranks of competition. Sartid Smederevo as the club was known in this era (''Srpsko akcionarsko rudarsko topioničarsko industrijsko društvo'') managed to beat Crvena Zvezda 1–0 in the 2002–03 Serbia and Montenegro Cup final at Partizan Stadium, achieving the club's greatest success in its history. 2011–12 Russian Premier League
The 2011–12 Russian Premier League was the 20th season of the Russian football championship since the dissolution of the Soviet Union and 10th under the current Russian Premier League name. The season began on 12 March 2011. The last matches were played on 22 May 2012, as the league switched to an autumn-spring rhythm. Ilija Petković
Ilija Petković ( sr-Cyrl, Илија Петковић, ; 22 September 1945 – 27 June 2020) was a Serbian footballer and manager. Petković was capped 43 times for Yugoslavia, participating in the 1968 European Football Championship, and in the 1974 FIFA World Cup where he scored a goal in a huge 9–0 win against Zaire. He played much of his career in OFK Beograd, with a mid-career stint playing for Troyes. He began his coaching career in 1990 with his original club, OFK Beograd, and he went on to coach numerous other clubs. The First League of Serbia and Montenegro ( sr, Прва савезна лига / Prva savezna liga) was the top football league of Serbia and Montenegro, before the country's dissolution in 2006. The league was formed following the breakup of Yugoslavia in 1992, effectively succeeding the Yugoslav First League. The league was renamed the Serbia and Montenegro SuperLiga prior to its final 2005–06 season. From 1993 to 1998, the league abandoned the traditional single-league structure, which was used in the first season, and the division was split into two groups; Group A (known as IA) for the top-seeded teams and Group B (IB) for the other teams. The 2006 FIFA World Cup, also branded as Germany 2006, was the 18th FIFA World Cup, the quadrennial international football world championship tournament. It was held from 9 June to 9 July 2006 in Germany, which had won the right to host the event in July 2000. Teams representing 198 national football associations from all six populated continents participated in the qualification process which began in September 2003. Thirty-one teams qualified from this process along with hosts Germany for the finals tournament.
