Ofir Netzer
Ofir Netzer (born 13 May 1996) is an Israeli artistic gymnast. She is the 2018 FIG World Challenge Cup series champion and 2017 Maccabiah Games champion on vault. Early life Netzer was born in Moledet, Israel. She was a soldier in the Israel Defense Forces but held a special status for outstanding athletes that enabled her to serve close to home so that she could continue training and travel overseas when needed. Gymnastics career Senior 2013 Netzer competed at the 2013 Cottbus World Cup in March where she qualified to the vault final and finished in seventh place. In April she competed at the 2013 European Artistic Gymnastics Championships where she once again qualified to the vault final. She finished fourth behind Giulia Steingruber of Switzerland, Noël van Klaveren of the Netherlands, and Larisa Iordache of Romania. Gymnastics At The 2019 European Games
Gymnastics competitions at the 2019 European Games in Minsk, Belarus, were held from 22 to 30 June 2019 at the Minsk-Arena. A total of 32 gymnastics events were held in the five disciplines; artistic, rhythmic, trampolining, aerobic and acrobatic. Qualification A total of 286 athletes will qualify for the gymnastics competitions. The 2018 Artistic Gymnastics World Championships was the 48th edition of the Artistic Gymnastics World Championships. The competition was held from October 25 – November 3, 2018, at the Aspire Academy Dome in Doha, Qatar. It was the first time that the competition was held in the Middle East. The 2017 Artistic Gymnastics World Championships was the forty-seventh edition of the Artistic Gymnastics World Championships. The competition was held from October 2–8, 2017, at the Olympic Stadium in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The event marked the first time since 2003 that the Championships had been held in North America. Montreal was also the host of the 1985 World Championships and the 1976 Summer Olympics.
