Ofer Shechter
Ofer Shechter ( he, עפר שכטר; April 8, 1981) is an Israeli actor, stand-up comedian, television host, and former model. Early life Shechter was born and raised in moshav Hadar Am, Israel, to a family of Ashkenazi Jewish descent. At the age of seven, Shechter took part in a commercial for a watermelon ice pop which was broadcast on Israeli television. After his military service in the Israel Defense Forces, Shechter attended Yoram Levinstein's theater course and studied acting in front of a camera. Career By 2002 Shechter was selected, together with a group of young Israeli hosts that included Mali Levi, Michael Hanegbi, and Yael Goldman, to host the Israeli youth TV show ''Exit'' on the newly established Israeli Channel 10. Hadar Am
Hadar Am ( he, הֲדַר עָם, ''lit.'' Nation Citrus) is a moshav in central Israel. Located in the Sharon plain near Netanya, it falls under the jurisdiction of Hefer Valley Regional Council. In it had a population of . History The moshav was founded in 1934 by aliyah, Jewish immigrants from Lithuania and North America, and was initially named Herut America Gimel (there were two other settlements named Herut America - ''Herut America Alef'' (now Herut, Israel, Herut) and ''Herut America Bet'' (now Beit Herut)) after the organisation which helped them immigrate. In 1943 it was renamed ''Hadar Am'' after citrus trees which surrounded the village. The founders were later joined by more immigrants from the Netherlands. ''Rabies'' ( he, כלבת, ''Kalevet'') is a 2010 Israeli film written and directed by Aharon Keshales and Navot Papushado. It was marketed as "the first feature-length Israeli horror film". Plot A brother and sister are on the run, determined to keep their incestuous relationship a secret. ''The Lost Islands'' is an Australian television series which first aired in Australia on Network Ten. It later screened around the world, including the United Kingdom, France, West Germany, Italy, The Netherlands, Greece (and various other parts of Europe), as well as Israel, New Zealand, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Canada and the United States. Plot A hurricane nearly sinks the ''United World'', a sailing ship holding 40 teenagers from all around the world. Most of them flee the ship in lifeboats, but the evacuating children are not counted, and five are left behind. The storm blows the battered ship across a reef into the lagoon of an uncharted island. The island, Tambu, is ruled by a supposedly 200-year-old immortal tyrant called "Q", who came to the island on one of several ships originally bound for New Holland. Moshe Ivgy ( he, משה איבגי; born 29 November 1953) is an Israeli actor and director. Biography Moshe Ivgy was born in Casablanca, Morocco, to a Moroccan Jewish family. He was married to actress Irit Sheleg. Their daughter Dana Ivgy is also an actress. After divorcing Irit, he married Oreet, with whom he has two children, Ella and Lily. Ivgy experimented with Scientology and spent some six months studying its teachings. He abandoned it, stating "it is an insane business...
