Oden High School
Oden High School is a public six-year high school located along Arkansas Highway 88 in Oden, Arkansas, United States. Oden is one of three public high schools in Montgomery County and one of two high schools of the Ouachita River School District. For 2010–11, the school enrollment was 256 students occupying grades 7 through 12. The school was initially a part of the Oden School District. The Ouachita River district was established by the merger of the Acorn School District and the Oden School District on July 1, 2004. Oden is a town in Montgomery County, Arkansas, United States. As of the 2020 census, its population was 180, down from 232 in 2010. Geography Oden is located in northwestern Montgomery County at (34.6189884, -93.7768637). Arkansas Highway 88 (Broadway Avenue) is the main road through the town, leading east to Pencil Bluff and west to Mena. Mount Ida, the Montgomery county seat, is southeast of Oden via AR 88 and US 270. According to the United States Census Bureau, Oden has a total area of , of which , or 2.75%, are water. The Ouachita River flows past the south side of the town, outside the town limits. Demographics As of the census of 2000, there were 220 people, 79 households, and 65 families residing in the town. Highway 88 (AR 88, Ark. 88, and Hwy. 88) is a designation for five state highways in Arkansas. All routes are maintained by the Arkansas Department of Transportation (ArDOT).
