Odell Bradley
Odell Bradley (born September 6, 1981) is an American former professional basketball player. He was a forward in the United States Basketball League and the Continental Basketball Association. Early life Bradley was born September 6, 1981, in Nashville, Tennessee. He played basketball at White Creek High School. College career Bradley played at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis for the IUPUI Jaguars. While there, he led his team to the NCAA tournament. In his last season there he averaged 23 points per game and 8 rebounds per game. While there, he won the Summit Player of the Year Award. He was named an honorable mention All-American by the Associated Press. Professional career Bradley was drafted by the United States Basketball League for the Cedar Rapids River Raiders. In the sport of basketball, there are five players play per team, each assigned to positions. Historically, these players have been assigned, to positions defined by the role they play on the court, from a strategic point of view. The three main positions are guard, forward, and center, with the standard team featuring two guards, two forwards, and a center. Over time, as more specialized roles developed, each of the guards and forwards came to be differentiated, and today each of the five positions are known by unique names, each of which has also been assigned a number: point guard (PG) or 1, the shooting guard (SG) or 2, the small forward (SF) or 3, the power forward (PF) or 4, and the center (C) or 5. NCAA Men's Basketball All-Americans
The NCAA Men's Basketball All-American teams are teams made up of National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) basketball players voted the best in the country by a variety of organizations.
