Oconee County High School is a public secondary school in Watkinsville, Georgia, United States. It is a public high school that hosts grades 9–12. It is one of two high schools in the Oconee County Public Schools district. Its mascot is the Warrior, and its colors are blue and white. The school was ranked number 499 out of 500 in ''Newsweek''s 2014 rankings of the top 500 high schools in America, and is consistently named one of the top public high schools in Georgia with regard to Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) scores. OCHS offers football, wrestling, soccer, swimming and diving, volleyball, baseball, tennis, track, and cross country. Watkinsville, Georgia
Watkinsville is the largest town and county seat of Oconee County, Georgia, United States. As of the 2020 census, the town had a total population of 2,896. It served as the seat of Clarke County until 1872 when the county seat of that county was moved to Athens, a move which ultimately led to the creation of Oconee County in 1875. Adam Timothy Frazier (born December 14, 1991) is an American professional baseball second baseman and outfielder who is a free agent. He previously played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Pittsburgh Pirates, San Diego Padres and Seattle Mariners. He played college baseball for the Mississippi State Bulldogs. Zach Mettenberger
Zachary Rich Mettenberger (born July 16, 1991) is a former American football quarterback who played in the National Football League (NFL) for three seasons, primarily with the Tennessee Titans. He played college football at LSU and was selected by the Titans in the sixth round of the 2014 NFL Draft.
