Ocean Grove Football Club
The Ocean Grove Football Netball Club, nicknamed the ''Grubbers'', is an Australian rules football and netball club that plays in the Bellarine Football League (BFL) and situated in the town of Ocean Grove, Victoria. History The club started off in the 1960s as a joint club between Barwon Heads and Ocean Grove. The Barwon Heads/Ocean Grove Football Club wore purple jumpers with gold trim and were, and still are known as the "Grubbers". Ray Menzies was a founding member of the club and also the Bellarine Football League; the nearby Ray Menzies Memorial Reserve was named in his honour. Years later, the club broke into the Barwon Heads Football Club and the Ocean Grove Football and Netball Club. The newly established club wore white jumpers with a red V, similar to the old South Melbourne jumpers. Bellarine Football League
The Bellarine Football Netball League (BFNL) is an Australian rules football and netball competition based in the Bellarine Peninsula region of Victoria, Australia. Established in 1971 as the Bellarine & District Football League, the competition was formed out of the ashes of the Polwarth Football League, which had six of its former teams join. The competition was renamed the Bellarine Football League in 1986, and finally the Bellarine Football Netball League in 2011 when the local netball competition was administratively aligned with the football competition for the first time. Prior to 2011, netball clubs competed in a competition overseen by the Bellarine District Netball Association. The BFNL forms the second tier of football in the Geelong area, along with the Geelong Football League and the Geelong & District Football League. Western Bulldog
The Western Bulldogs are a professional Australian rules football team that competes in the Australian Football League (AFL), the sport's premier competition. Founded in 1877 as the Footscray Football Club, and based in West Footscray in the old City of Footscray west of Melbourne, the club won nine premierships in the Victorian Football Association (VFA) before gaining admission to the Victorian Football League (which became the AFL in 1990) in 1925. Ayce Cordy (born 6 August 1990) is a former professional Australian rules footballer who played with the Western Bulldogs in the Australian Football League (AFL). The Bulldogs used their first-round selection, 14th overall, to secure Cordy after bid their first-round selection (pick 13) for him. Cordy's father, Brian, played 124 games for the Bulldogs in the 1980s. His brother, Zaine, currently plays for the Saints. Playing 27 games for the Western Bulldogs, Cordy was delisted at the end of the 2015 season. Daniel "Danny" Stanley (born 18 February 1988) is a former professional Australian rules footballer who played for the Collingwood Football Club and Gold Coast Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). The West Coast Eagles are a professional Australian rules football club based in Perth, Western Australia. The club was founded in 1986 as one of two expansion teams in the Australian Football League (AFL), then known as the Victorian Football League. Jordan Jones (born 29 June 1990) is an Australian rules footballer previously listed with the Williamstown Football Club in the Victorian Football League (VFL) for season 2017-2018 and also previously listed with West Perth Football Club in the West Australian Football League (WAFL) from 2012-2016. Clinton "Clint" Bartram (born 18 February 1988) is a former professional Australian rules footballer who played for the Melbourne Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). He was recruited from the Geelong Falcons, after growing up in Leopold. Bartram was recruited by Melbourne at pick 60 in the 2005 AFL National Draft. Bartram is a small (183 cm), running midfield/defender player who was used as a tagger in the 2006 season. He made his debut in round one of the 2006 season against Carlton and kicked a goal in his first match.
