''Obscure Verses for the Multiverse'' is the sixth full-length studio album by American black metal band Inquisition, released on October 24, 2013, through Season of Mist. The album was recorded over a period of five days, from June 10 to 15, 2013, at AM Recording Studios in Oxnard, California. Critical reception ''Obscure Verses'' was generally well received by critics. Inquisition is an American black metal band that formed in Cali, Colombia in 1988 and later relocated to Seattle, Washington. The band possessed a thrash metal sound on its earliest recordings, but began incorporating more black metal influences in 1996 with its first extended play ''Incense of Rest''. Season Of Mist
Season of Mist is an independent record label and record distributor with subsidiaries in France and the United States. The record label was founded in 1996 by Michael S. Berberian in Marseille, France. From the start releasing black metal, pagan metal, and death metal records, the label moved on to releasing albums of avant-garde metal, gothic metal and punk bands as well. The label has two offices, one in Marseille, France and one in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Alfonso Pinzón
Alfonso Pinzón (born 27 November 1972) is a Colombian heavy metal drummer known for his work with the bands Agony and Dia De Los Muertos and for co-founding the Festival del Diablo in Bogotá, Colombia. Career Pinzón cofounded the Colombian thrash metal band Agony with Ernesto Robayo and Andrés Jaramillo in 1992. They released several albums before moving to Los Angeles in 1999. In 2005, with Agony on hiatus, Pinzón cofounded the extreme metal band Dia De Los Muertos with Andres Jaramillo and Body Count bassist Vincent Price. In 2007, Agony regrouped and headlined the festival Rock al Parque in Bogotá, Colombia. Pinzón has produced most of Agony's recordings.
