Obimo
Obimo is a town in the Nsukka local government area of Enugu state in Nigeria. Its full name is Obimo Asebere. It is made up of five communities: *Akpotoro *Amagu *Ajuona- reji *Agbo -Ideke aleju *Akautara It is situated on the outskirts of Nsukka city. Obimo shares common borders with Edem in the North; Lejja in the south; Agbani Nguru in the east and Nkpologu in the west. Education in the community includes three secondary schools: Community Secondary School Obimo (formally Obimo Girls), Community high school Ajuona, Community Secondary School Akpotoro Obimo. And five primary school include Udoka primary school Akpotoro, Hilltop primary school i and ii Ajuona, Union primary school, Community primary school Agbo, Central primary school Akwutara. Akpotoro
Akpotoro is one of the five communities that made up of Obimo in Nsukka local government area of Enugu state in Nigeria. Composition Akpotoro is made up of two sub-communities: Uwani Uwani has four villages: *Obeke *Umu Ogbuagu *Umu Okparaenu *Ajuona. Isi Enu Isi Enu has three villages: *Umu Eze *Ama Ogene *Uwa Enu Akpotoro shares common boundary with Lejja towards Agu-Lagos area as its fondly called due to its distance from the main community. Nsukka
Nsukka is a town and a Local Government Area in Enugu State, Nigeria. Nsukka shares a common border as a town with Edem, Opi (archaeological site), Ede-Oballa, and Obimo. The postal code of the area is 410001 and 410002 respectively referring to University of Nigeria Campus, and Nsukka Urban. History Nsukka is made up of Mkpunano, Nru, and Ihe'n Owerre. Presently, there is an erroneous trend of referring to all the towns under Enugu North Senatorial Zone as Nsukka. Edem
Edem, occasionally referred to by the misnomer "Edem Ani" (in contradistinction from Edem Nru and Edem Iheakpu Awka) is an ancient traditional state in Nsukka Local Government Area of Enugu State, Nigeria. A culturally rich, stable traditional political system with institutions of government dating back 900 years, it is one of the oldest civilisations in existence pre-colonial Nigeria. Today, it is made up of three autonomous communities/towns, listed in order of seniority: Akpa-Edem, Ozi-Edem and Edem-Ani but unified as a culturally inviolable and indivisible federated entity. Enugu

Lejja
Lejja is a community comprising 33 villages in Enugu State of South-Eastern Nigeria. It is populated by the Igbo people and located about 14 Kilometers from Nsukka. It is the location of a prehistoric archaeological site which contains iron smelting furnaces and slag dated to 2000 BC. The village square at Otobo ugwu which is likely the first village square in lejja contains over 800 blocks of slag with an average weight of between 34 and 57 kg.
