Oasis Railway Station
Oasis or Casa-Oasis is a railway station in Casablanca. In the past few years it has handled an increased numbers of passengers. History The newly renovated station was officially opened on 4 January 2005 after major modernisation work by the ONCF, with a total MAD 13m investment. The renovations were made to relieve congestion at and stations. All southern inter-city train services to and from Casa-Voyageurs now call at Casa-Oasis. ONCF
ONCF (from French: ''Office National des Chemins de Fer''; ar, المكتب الوطني للسكك الحديدية ''Al-Maktab al-Waṭaniy lil-Sikak al-Ḥadīdiyyah''; ''Moroccan National Railways Office'') is Morocco's national railway operator. ONCF is a state-owned company that is under the control of the Ministry of Equipment, Transport and Logistics and is responsible for all passenger and freight traffic on the national railway network. Al Bidaoui ( ar, البيضاوي) is a commuter rail system serving Casablanca in Morocco. It serves several train stations in Casablanca such as Casa-Voyageurs, Casa-Port and Mohammed V International Airport. ''Train Navette Rapide'' ("Fast Shuttle Train", more commonly known as the "TNR" or "Aouita") is a Moroccan rail service operated by the ONCF. Its first phase runs from Casablanca to Kénitra with a half-hourly service in each direction, between 6 a.m. and 9.30 p.m. The concept was based on existing Moroccan transport links. TNR Casablanca - Kenitra History On 21 May 1984, following the doubling of the Casablanca—Rabat line, the TNR made its first journey on the line from to . It was named the "Aouita".
