Oalex Anderson (born 11 November 1995 in Barrouallie) is a Vincentian professional footballer who plays for North Carolina FC in USL League One and the Saint Vincent and the Grenadines national team. Anderson is known by the nickname "Bounty" for his prolific goal scoring. Club career Anderson has played for System 3 FC of the NLA Premier League, the top tier of football in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. Anderson was the league's top scorer for the 2013/2014 season. In September 2014, System 3 loaned Anderson to Grenades FC of the Antigua and Barbuda Premier Division, along with national teammate Kevin Francis, on 6-month deals. Barrouallie
Barrouallie is a town located on the island of Saint Vincent. It was established by French settlers in 1719, the first European colony on St. Vincent. With the rest of the island, it passed back and forth between the French and the British, finally remaining in the hands of the latter. Within Saint Patrick Parish Barrouallie is both the largest city and the parish capital. The area is known for fishing and is famous for "blackfish". Portland Timbers 2 is an American professional soccer team based in Portland, Oregon. The team, often referred to as "T2", serves as the reserve squad for the Portland Timbers of Major League Soccer (MLS). The 2015 CONCACAF Men's Olympic Qualifying Championship qualification was a men's under-23 football competition which decided the participating teams of the 2015 CONCACAF Men's Olympic Qualifying Championship. Players born on or after 1 January 1993 were eligible to compete in the tournament. The 2014 Caribbean Cup qualification began in May 2014 and ended in October 2014. The qualification competition determined which national teams could play in the 2014 Caribbean Cup which in turn determined which teams participated in the 2015 CONCACAF Gold Cup and the 2016 Copa América Centenario. The Dominica national football team is the national team of Dominica and is controlled by the Dominica Football Association. They are a member of CONCACAF. Myron Samuel (born 19 December 1992) is a Vincentian international footballer who last played for Seattle Sounders FC 2 in the USL. Samuel is one of the youngest players to play and to score for Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. Club career Samuel played for Vincentian NLA Premier League clubs System 3 FC in 2009 and Avenues United FC from 2009 to 2013, and Rendezvous FC of the Barbados Premier Division from 2013 to 2015. 2016 USL Season
The 2016 USL season was the sixth season of the United Soccer League and the twenty-second season of USSF sanctioned Division III play organized by the United Soccer Leagues. On August 6, 2015, the league announced that the season would consist of 30 games rather than 28 games played from 2013–2015. This was the first increase in the number of games since the league went from 24 games per season in 2012 to 28 games in 2013. The league expanded from 24 to 29 teams in 2016. Six franchises were officially announced by the league: Swope Park Rangers, Orlando City B, Rio Grande Valley FC, FC Cincinnati, Bethlehem Steel FC, and San Antonio FC.
