Oak Creek Nature Reserve
The Oak Creek Nature Reserve is a state park, protected nature reserve in the Southern Tablelands region of New South Wales, in eastern Australia. The reserve is situated near the rural locality of . The reserve was created in January 2001 as part of the Southern Regional Forest Agreement. Prior to this, the area was Crown land#Australia, Crown land. The National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) is a directorate of the New South Wales Department of Planning and Environment responsible for managing most of the protected areas in the state of New South Wales, Australia. Despite its name the NPWS is a state agency rather than a national one, with similarly named counterparts fulfilling comparable functions in other states and territories.
