OLDCODEX
Oldcodex (stylized as OLDCODEX) was a Japanese rock band from Tokyo, Japan, formed in 2009. They performed the opening themes for the anime series '' Free!'', ''Servamp'' and '' God Eater'' and the ending themes for ''Kuroko's Basketball'' and ''Togainu no Chi''. Their band name indicates their wish to "create their distinctiveness" in rock music. They also take on a unique concept, having a painter draw on canvas while the main vocalist sing on live stages. History Oldcodex was founded on October 21, 2009, by members Ta_2 (Tatsuhisa Suzuki) and R.O.N, who used to work with Ta_2 on his past solo projects. They debuted with the first mini album "OLDCODEX". They were accompanied by other members from another one named "ROSARYHILL", including R.O.N himself, YoHske and sae, though the last two did not stay from February 15, 2010, onward. Tatsuhisa Suzuki
is a Japanese voice actor and singer from Ichikawa, Chiba. He is affiliated with I'm Enterprise and Lantis. He is the former lead vocalist of Oldcodex, in which he performed under his stage name Ta_2. Biography ''Shūkan Bunshun'' reported that Suzuki was engaged to LiSA in May 2019. In January 2020, the two publicly revealed their relationship and announced they had married. On August 4, 2021, Suzuki went on hiatus due to poor health issues, following a report published on July 30 by ''Shūkan Bunshun'' alleging that he was involved in an extramarital affair with a female work associate. The same report also alleged that Suzuki had possibly violated non-disclosure agreements during the affair regarding music he and Oldcodex had been working on for other anime series. is an anime adaptation of the '' God Eater'' video game. It is animated by Ufotable and began airing on July 12, 2015 after a one-week delay. It was later acquired by MVM Films from December 2017 to be released that year. Plot In 2071, an organization known as Fenrir, located in the post-apocalyptic nation of the New Asian Union (NAU), helps humanity protect itself against monsters known as Aragami using divine weapons called "God Arcs". Composed of biological material called "Oracle Cells", God Arcs are wielded by a group of soldiers called, "God Eaters". is a Japanese manga series by Strike Tanaka, serialized in Media Factory's ''shōjo'' manga magazine ''Monthly Comic Gene'' since 2011. It has been collected into nineteen ''tankōbon'' volumes.
