Odbojkaški klub Crvena zvezda ( en, Volleyball Club Red Star) is a professional volleyball Sports club, club based in Belgrade, Serbia. Its name ''Crvena zvezda'' means Red Star and it is part of the SD Crvena Zvezda sports society. It has a men's and a women's section. It is the most successful team in Serbian volleyball in women's category. OK Crvena zvezda is ranked 27th (as of October 2016) in the Men's European clubs ranking. CEV Women's Champions League
The Women's CEV Champions League, formerly known as CEV Champions Cup (from 1960 to 2000), is the top official competition for women's volleyball clubs of Europe and takes place every year. It is organized by the Confédération Européenne de Volleyball (CEV) and was created in 1960 as . On 13 November 2000, it was officially presented in Florence under a new format and renamed . Formula The competition has changed its format since the first fourteen teams took part at the inaugural edition in 1960–61. Through the era, as the number of participating teams has changed over time, the competition moved from an only knockout tournament to include a round-robin format between the final four competitors to determine the champion. Vladimir Batez ( sr-cyr, Владимир Батез; born September 7, 1969) is a Serbian politician and a retired volleyball player who competed for Yugoslavia in the 1996 Summer Olympics and in the 2000 Summer Olympics. Miodrag Mitić (15 September 1959 – 7 February 2022) was a Yugoslav volleyball player. CEV Women's Challenge Cup
The CEV Women's Challenge Cup, formerly (from 1980 to 2007) known as CEV Women's Cup is the third official competition for women's volleyball clubs of Europe and takes place every year. It is organized by the Confédération Européenne de Volleyball (CEV) and was created as in 1980 to allow more clubs to participate in European competitions.
