Owen Evans (Australian Footballer)
Kenneth Owen "KO" Evans (5 December 1916 – 19 November 1972) was an Australian rules footballer who played with South Melbourne in the Victorian Football League (VFL). Evans, who excelled in athletics while at Wesley College, played 64 games for South Melbourne, in seven seasons. The Wesley College recruit was on a half forward flank for South Melbourne in the 1936 VFL Grand Final loss to Collingwood. His career best goal tally was eight goals, which he got against Hawthorn at Lake Oval in 1940. The Coburg Football Club, nicknamed the Coburg Lions, is an Australian rules football club based in Coburg, a northern suburb of Melbourne, and currently playing in the Victorian Football League (VFL). Collegians are an Australian rugby league football team based in Wollongong. The club are a part of Country Rugby League and compete in the Illawarra Rugby League premiership. Originally known as CBC Old Boys, the Club was founded in 1933. The Brothers Club was then admitted to the Illawarra 1st Grade competition in 1938. South Launceston Football Club
The South Launceston Football Club is an Australian rules football club currently competing in the Northern Tasmanian Football Association. They were formed through a merger between City-South and East Launceston in 1986, clubs in the former Northern Tasmanian Football Association (which is not related to the current NTFA). South Launceston was in the TFL Statewide League from 1986 to 1997, then the Northern Tasmanian Football League until 2008, then in the Tasmanian Football League until 2013.
