"Over and Over" is a song by American singer Puff Johnson. It was written by Phil Galdston, Reed Vertelney, and Alan Roy Scott and initially recorded for the soundtrack of the American comedy film ''The First Wives Club'' (1996). Production on the song was overseen by Keith Thomas (record producer), Keith Thomas. Released as a standalone single, it became a top-10 success in Norway and entered the top 20 of the UK Singles Chart. "Over and Over" was also included in several international editions of Johnson's only studio album, ''Miracle (Puff Johnson album), Miracle'' (1996). Puff Johnson
Ewanya "Puff" Johnson (December 10, 1972 – June 24, 2013) was an American R&B singer-songwriter. Born in Detroit, she emerged on the music scene with her singles " Forever More" and " Over and Over", which experienced commercial success in Europe and Australia. These songs were included on her only album ''Miracle'' (1996). In the early- to mid-2000s, she was listed as a co-writer on several projects and relocated to South Africa where she began working on an unreleased second album. However, in March 2008 Johnson was diagnosed with cervical cancer and subsequently, five years later on June 24, 2013 died of the disease. Rhythmic contemporary, also known as Rhythmic Top 40, Rhythmic CHR or rhythmic crossover, is a primarily American music-radio format that includes a mix of EDM, upbeat rhythmic pop, hip hop and upbeat R&B hits. Kenneth Karlin or just Karlin (born September 18, 1966) is a Danish songwriter and producer who is best known for his work with Carsten Schack, better known as Soulshock, forming the Los Angeles-based producer duo Soulshock & Karlin.
