Outsider (Three Days Grace Album)
''Outsider'' is the sixth studio album by Canadian rock band Three Days Grace. It was released on March 9, 2018 through RCA Records. The album was produced by two of the band's prior producers, Gavin Brown and Howard Benson but also by members of the band themselves. It is the second album to feature Matt Walst as lead vocalist. The album was preceded by the release of its first single, "The Mountain". Background and recording Once the tour for their 2015 album ''Human'' concluded, the band decided to take time off to work on the next album "in as much isolation as possible," according to drummer Neil Sanderson. The band desired, Sanderson explained, to "get a break and find the space to create." To accomplish this, the group spent a year writing at rural properties owned by Sanderson and bassist Brad Walst. Three Days Grace
Three Days Grace is a Canadian Rock music, rock band formed in Norwood, Ontario in 1992 originally as "Groundswell" and played in various local Norwood backyard parties and area establishments before disbanding in 1995 and regrouping in 1997. Based in Toronto, the band's original line-up consisted of guitarist and lead vocalist Adam Gontier, drummer and backing vocalist Neil Sanderson, and bassist Brad Walst. In 2003, Barry Stock was recruited as the band's lead guitarist, making them a quartet. In 2013, Gontier left the band and was replaced by My Darkest Days' vocalist Matt Walst, the younger brother of Brad Walst. Barry Stock
Barry Stock (born April 24, 1974) is the lead guitarist of the Canadian rock band Three Days Grace. Biography Stock joined Three Days Grace in 2003, shortly after the band's self-titled debut studio album was released. Stock's addition in Three Days Grace made the band a four-piece. Stock uses Schecter, Ibanez and PRS guitars, but prefers an Ibanez SZ320. He has also been seen using an Ibanez SZ4020FM Prestige. Since the discontinuation of the SZ series in 2008, Stock has started to use other guitars in the Ibanez line such as the ART series and Darkstone series. He uses Marshall Amplification and various effect pedals, mostly by Digitech. On the Live at the Palace DVD he revealed he uses Diezel Vh4 Amplifiers.
