''Out of My Hands'' is the fifth studio album and third English-language album by Norwegian pop singer Morten Harket. It was released on April 13, 2012 through Island Records. The album was mainly produced by British record producer Steve Osborne, who worked with a-ha on their ninth studio album, ''Foot of the Mountain'' (2009). Upon its release, the album received generally mixed reviews from Norwegian music critics. The album charted at number one in Norway, becoming the singer's third number-one album there. Critical reception Nick Levine of the ''BBC'' gave the album a favourable review, and wrote: "There's a similar dignity to Morten Harket's first solo album since the split. It's a grown-up synth-pop affair featuring songs that vary in pace all the way from a fairly slow mid-tempo to, ooh, a fairly fast mid-tempo. Morten Harket
Morten Harket () (born September 14, 1959) is a Norwegian vocalist and songwriter, who is the lead singer of the synthpop/rock band A-ha. A-ha has released 10 studio albums to date, and topped the charts internationally after their breakthrough hit "Take On Me" in 1985. Harket has also released six solo albums. Before joining a-ha in 1982, Harket had appeared on the Oslo club scene as the singer for blues outfit Souldier Blue. Harket was named a Knight First Class of the Order of St. Olav by King Harald for his services to Norwegian music and his international success. Early life The son of Reidar, a chief physician at a hospital, and Henny, an economics teacher and brother to Gunvald, Håkon, Ingunn and Kjetil, Morten grew up in Asker in southern Norway. ''Foot of the Mountain'' is the ninth studio album by the Norwegian pop rock band A-ha. It was released on 19 June 2009 and reached No. 1 on the Media Control Charts, German Albums Chart and No. 2 on the VG-lista, Norwegian Albums Chart. In its first week in the UK, the album debuted at No. 5, the group's highest chart placing in that country since ''Stay on These Roads'' in 1988. The overall sound of the record marks a return to the synth-pop style the band became famous for in the mid-1980s. Espen Lind
Espen Lind (born 13 May 1971) is a Norwegian record producer, songwriter, singer, and multi-instrumentalist. He is one half of the production team Espionage, and together with his long time partner Amund Bjorklund he has written and/or produced songs for artists like Taylor Swift, Beyoncé, Train, Jennifer Hudson, Emeli Sande and Selena Gomez. The ''Daily Express'' is a national daily United Kingdom middle-market newspaper printed in tabloid format. Published in London, it is the flagship of Express Newspapers, owned by publisher Reach plc. It was first published as a broadsheet in 1900 by Sir Arthur Pearson. ''Echoes'' is the fifth studio album by English recording artist Will Young. It was released by RCA Records and Sony Music on 19 August 2011. A departure from previous albums which saw him working with a diverse roster of collaborators, Young worked with music producer Richard X and Pete Hofmann on the bulk of the album. A television special, ''A Night With Will Young'', aired on ITV on 27 August 2011 to coincide with the release of the album and recognising Young's impending ten-year anniversary in the music industry. History and profile The former ''Drammens Tidende'' dates back to 2 January 1832, when it was known as ''Tiden'', taking the new name in thirteen years later. ''Buskerud Blad'' dates back to 3 July 1883 when it was founded as a conservative alternative to ''Drammens Tidende'' and '' Drammens Blad'', which were both pro-liberal. ''Dagsavisen'' is a daily newspaper published in Oslo, Norway. The former party organ of the Norwegian Labour Party, the ties loosened over time from 1975 to 1999. It has borne several names, and was called ''Arbeiderbladet'' from 1923 to 1997. Eirik Hoff Lysholm is editor-in-chief. The newspaper depends on economic support from the Norwegian Government.
