Oscar Ukonu
Oscar Ukonu (born 1993) is a Nigerian ballpoint pen artist based in Lagos, Nigeria. He is known for his hyperrealist portraits. Early life and education Ukonu was born in 1993. He began drawing, as a hobby, when he was nine. He studied architecture at Federal Polytechnic in Nekede, Nigeria. Art While studying architecture, he drew a lot of pencil-based drawings followed by experimenting with rapidograph ink pens to develop his own art style. In 2014, after spending a considerable time looking at different mediums and drawing tools, he chose the ballpoint pen to produce his photorealistic works. Jean Baudrillard ( , , ; 27 July 1929 – 6 March 2007) was a French sociologist, philosopher and poet with interest in cultural studies. He is best known for his analyses of media, contemporary culture, and technological communication, as well as his formulation of concepts such as simulation and hyperreality. Hatching
Hatching (french: hachure) is an artistic technique used to create tonal or shading effects by drawing (or painting or scribing) closely spaced parallel lines. (It is also used in monochromatic representations of heraldry to indicate what the tincture of a "full-colour" emblazon would be.) When lines are placed at an angle to one another, it is called cross-hatching. Hatching is especially important in essentially linear media, such as drawing, and many forms of printmaking, such as engraving, etching and woodcut.
