Oscar Raimundo Martín (23 June 1934 in Buenos Aires - 12 February 2018) was an Argentine former footballer. Martín died on 12 February 2018. Club career Oscar Martín started his career at Argentinos Juniors in 1953. In 1959 he moved to the second league club Chacarita Juniors, who helped get promoted to the Primera División. In 1963 he moved to Racing Club de Avellaneda. With Racing, he won the Argentine Championship in 1966 and the Copa Libertadores in 1967 (Martín played in all three final matches with Nacional Montevideo, in which he served as captain). He also captained Racing to victory in the Intercontinental Cup, again playing in all three matches against Scottish club Celtic. In total, he played 257 matches in the league between 1953-1967 for his three clubs, scoring once.
