Order Of The Polar Star (Mongolia)
The Order of the Polar Star ( Mongolian: , Traditional Mongolian: ᠠᠯᠲᠠᠨ ᠭᠠᠳᠠᠰᠤ ᠣᠳᠤᠨ) is a state award of Mongolia. It is the highest civilian award Mongolia can present to a foreign citizen. The order was created in 1936. The regulation was approved by the resolution of the Presidium of the Small Khural and the Council of Ministers of the MPR on May 16, 1941. Description It comes in four types: Type 1 (1936), Type 2 (1940), Type 3 (1940-41), Type 4 (1970). For everyday wear, the order had a symbol in the form of an order bar. Until 1961, the bar of the order was rectangular metal, covered with colored enamel. Since 1961, the enamel strips have been replaced by strips covered with ribbons in the order's colors. Vladimir Okonovich Karuev (born 2 April 1957), better known by his Kalmyk name Okna Tsahan Zam, is a Kalmyk folk singer, known for his throat singing and as a performer of the Kalmyk national epic ''Jangar''. Biography Okna Tsahan Zam does not have a traditional music education. According to an interview he gave to Tim Cope, an adventure filmmaker and author, he was educated in Moscow as a nuclear engineer and worked at a nuclear power plant. Yury Luzhkov
Yury Mikhailovich Luzhkov ( rus, Ю́рий Миха́йлович Лужко́в, p=ˈjʉrʲɪj mʲɪˈxajləvʲɪtɕ lʊˈʂkof; 21 September 1936 – 10 December 2019) was a Russian politician who served as mayor of Moscow from 1992 to 2010. Before the election of Gavriil Popov as the first mayor of Moscow, he also headed the capital in 1990-1991 as chairman of the Mosgorispolkom. He was the vice-chairman and one of the founders of the ruling United Russia party. During Luzhkov's time, Moscow's economy expanded and he presided over large construction projects in the city, including the building of a new financial district.
