Pelagic Sediment
Pelagic sediment or pelagite is a fine-grained sediment that accumulates as the result of the settling of particles to the floor of the open ocean, far from land. These particles consist primarily of either the microscopic, calcareous or siliceous shells of phytoplankton or zooplankton; clay-size siliciclastic sediment; or some mixture of these. Trace amounts of meteoric dust and variable amounts of volcanic ash also occur within pelagic sediments. In the ''Dungeons & Dragons'' fantasy role-playing game, "monsters" are generally the antagonists which players must fight and defeat to progress in the game. Since the game's first edition in 1974, a bestiary was included along other game manuals, first called ''Monsters & Treasure'' and now commonly called the ''Monster Manual''. Described as an "essential" part of ''Dungeons & Dragons'', the game's monsters have become notable in their own right, influencing fields such as video games and fiction, as well as popular culture. The Ooze
''The Ooze'' is a video game developed by Sega Technical Institute and released in 1995 in video gaming, 1995 for the Sega Genesis. In the game, players take the role of a slimy puddle of liquid and face off against various enemies and obstacles. Gameplay and plot The game starts at a chemical plant known as "The Corporation," with scientist Dr. Daniel Caine sneaking into the research lab where he worked, in order to find evidence that crimes were being committed using a toxic gas he created. Caine discovers that his colleagues are planning "Operation: Omega": a plan to release a plague upon the populace, and make a fortune because they hold the only cure. However, the Director of The Corporation discovers Caine in the lab. Caine is disposed of by means of chemical waste, but the chemicals do not kill him; instead, they alter him into the angry, sentience, sentient, formless creature known as "The Ooze". Action 52
''Action 52'' is an unlicensed, multicart video game compilation developed by Active Enterprises for the Nintendo Entertainment System, and by FarSight Technologies for the Sega Genesis. The NES version was released in 1991, followed by the Genesis version in 1993. The multicart consists of 52 games in a variety of genres, mostly scrolling shooters and platformers. The "featured" game is '' The Cheetahmen'', which was part of Active's attempt to create a franchise similar to the ''Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles''. Active Enterprises was legally incorporated in the Bahamas, however, offices and development were located in Miami, Florida while the company's product warehousing was located in Orlando, Florida. The NES version of ''Action 52'' became infamous among gamers for the poor quality and functionality of its games; it is often considered to be one of the worst games of all time.
