Oolong became an Internet phenomenon through his owner, Akutagawa, uploading images of the rabbit with objects balanced on his head because of his skills of balancing items such as dorayaki and others. Akutagawa's site featured "photo journeys" of Oolong traveling with his master through the house, yard, and other locations. The website became known to a wider audience when it was covered in 2001 by Syberpunk, a site which focuses on odd aspects of Japanese culture. History Oolong was trained to balance objects on his head, an art called 'Head Performance' by his owner. The first object balanced on Oolong's head was a 35 mm film canister on 25 May 1999. Akutagawa later used tea cups, bread, fruit, dorayaki, and a rabbit skull. Oolong, New South Wales
Oolong is a locality in southern New South Wales, Australia and the location of a minor railway station on the Main South railway line. It lies within the section from Gunning to Bowning which opened as a single line on 3 July, 1876. it is also located on the Hume Highway between Goulburn and Yass. History The station and crossing loop opened on 25 November 1890. The platform, which was 33 metres long, was erected on 18 December, 1890. When the line was duplicated, including deviations to the original alignment, in 1914, a new station building was erected on the deviation. There was a siding, a crossover and a signal box on one of the platforms. The platform closed on 13 February 1972, and was dismantled in the late 1980s. Udon
Udon ( or ) is a thick noodle made from wheat flour, used in Japanese cuisine. It is a comfort food for many Japanese people. There are a variety of ways it is prepared and served. Its simplest form is in a hot soup as with a mild broth called made from dashi, soy sauce, and mirin. It is usually topped with thinly chopped scallions. Other common toppings include prawn tempura, (mixed tempura fritter), (sweet, deep-fried tofu pouches), (sliced fish cake), and spice added to taste. Standard broth differs by region. Dalton is a small inland country town in the Southern Tablelands of New South Wales, Australia in Upper Lachlan Shire.
