''Only God Can Judge Me'' is the debut EP released by British singer Mark Morrison and the follow up to his successful debut studio album, '' Return of the Mack''. The title originated from his on stage protest during the BRIT Awards when it was emblazoned in front of his black long sleeve top. The EP was released in the U.S. as ''The Judgement''. Mark Morrison
Mark Morrison (born 3 May 1972) is a British R&B singer. His single, "Return of the Mack", became a No. 1 or top 10 hit in several European countries in 1996. The song peaked at No. 2 in the United States the following year. Career Mark Morrison's first official recording was the 1993 vinyl release "Where Is Our Love", pressed on his own private Joe'Mel label. In mid-1995, Morrison released his debut single, "Crazy", which became a Top-20 hit in the UK, and was a club favourite. The follow-up single, "Let's Get Down", also entered the Top 40. They were followed in the spring of 1996 by "Return of the Mack", which became a smash international hit, spending two weeks at the top of the UK Singles Chart. Mack Life Records is a record label, founded in the late 90s by the British-American R&B musician Mark Morrison. His single " Return of the Mack" was a UK No. 1 in 1996. The song peaked at No. 2 in the United States the following year. On April 22, 2020, Mack Life announced its return as an independent label, focused on developing new talent. It was first released through his Mack Life Records imprint in the United Kingdom and then released by Atlantic Records in the United States, with distribution via Warner Music Group on April 22, 1996. ''Innocent Man'' is the second studio album by British hip hop and R&B recording artist Mark Morrison, and released in the UK with a limited edition DVD release. It's Morrison's second full-length studio album and first since ''Return of the Mack'' in 1996. The album was originally slated for an 29 April 2002 release on Death Row Records with promotional copies and album samplers of the project being released, however the album was shelved due to label conflicts. In December 2004, Morrison attempted to release the album through his then-label 2 Wikid Records, but this did not happen as the project was again put on hold due to the label owner having disagreements with Morrison. The project was set for an April 2005 release, but it was again pushed back until 2006 when it was finally released on his own independent record label. The album subsequently failed to chart.
