One For All Tour
''One for All Tour'' is a concert video from The Bee Gees recorded live at the National Tennis Centre in Melbourne, Australia in November 1989. Melbourne was the third final stop on their 1989 One for All World Tour, which included the United States, Europe and Asia the first time the Bee Gees played live there since their 1979 Spirits Having Flown Tour. Originally, this video was released in two volumes on VHS, each 50 minutes apiece. Volume One incorrectly listed the song " My World" from 1972 instead of the song "World" from 1967. In the DVD era, the cover was slightly changed and was released under the title ''The Very Best of The Bee Gees Live!'' in 1997. In 2014, the Melbourne show was made available on CD for the first time as part of a box set chronicling their period on Warner Bros. Bee Gees
The Bee Gees were a musical group formed in 1958 by brothers Barry, Robin, and Maurice Gibb. The trio were especially successful in popular music in the late 1960s and early 1970s, and later as prominent performers in the disco music era in the mid-to-late 1970s. World (Bee Gees Song)
"World" is a song by the Bee Gees, released in 1967 as a single in the United Kingdom and Europe and then included on their album '' Horizontal'' the following year. Though it was a big hit in Europe, Atco Records did not issue it as a single in the United States, having just issued a third single from ''Bee Gees' 1st'', " Holiday". Recording and composition The song's first recording session was on 3 October 1967 along with "With the Sun in My Eyes" and "Words". The song's last recording session was on 28 October 1967. "World" was originally planned as having no orchestra, so was recorded on four tracks, including some piano played by Maurice and organ played by Robin. When it was decided to add an orchestra, the four tracks containing the band were mixed to one track and the orchestra was added to the other track. ''How Old Are You?'' is the second solo album released by British singer Robin Gibb in 1983, thirteen years after his debut ''Robin's Reign'' in 1970. The album was not a great success in America and failed to chart in Britain but it did spawn an international hit in "Juliet (Robin Gibb song), Juliet" which topped the charts in Germany. ''Idea'' is the fifth album by the Bee Gees. Released in September 1968, the album sold over a million copies worldwide. The album was issued in both mono and stereo pressings in the UK. The artwork on the Polydor release designed by Wolfgang Heilemann featured a "beehive" neon lightbulb with a group photo in its base, while the North American ATCO release designed by Klaus Voormann featured a composite head made from each band member. It was their third internationally released album - the first two albums being released only in the Australian market. "I've Gotta Get a Message to You" and "I Started a Joke" were both released as singles in North America.
