''One Love'' is the debut studio album of ''American Idol'' contestant Kimberley Locke. According to SoundScan, total sales of the album is approximately 213,000 copies. Critical reception AllMusic's Stephen Thomas Erlewine noted how the record has elements of rhythmic dance pop from Kelly Clarkson's '' Thankful'' and adult contemporary from Clay Aiken's '' Measure of a Man'', giving praise to Locke's vocal performance over a track listing that's more hook-filled than either of them, concluding that, "While that might not make for the most noteworthy of albums, it is a nice listen, and Kimberley Locke acquits herself well with this good-natured debut." Allen Shamblin is a country music songwriter who was born in Tennessee, and was brought up in Huffman, Texas. After graduating from Sam Houston State University he worked in Austin as a real estate appraiser. In 1987, he quit his job and moved to Nashville to pursue a career as a songwriter. He supported himself by parking cars and working in a warehouse. During live shows he tells stories about his parents sending him money so he could survive. Coulda Been
"Coulda Been" is the third single from American Idol finalist, Kimberley Locke, from her ''One Love'' album. This is an enhanced disc which contains the music video for the single. Though originally plans were to release "You've Changed" as the third single in the USA while "Coulda Been" would be the third single in the UK, the label decided to release "Coulda Been" across the board. Although this was a fan favorite from the album, the single did not gain momentum on American pop radio stations and failed to chart, although it did become a minor hit in the UK. A dance remix by DJ Volume was released on iTunes and through a DJ service called Ultimix. A second remix by Joe Bermudez remains unreleased. Samantha Cole (born October 19, 1978) is an American singer-songwriter. Early life Samantha Cole grew up in Southampton, New York. At the age of 15, Cole began taking vocal lessons and landed a number of singing engagements in New York. Career Cole made some 30 appearances (and one performance) on MTV's '' The Grind'', and became a regular performer at Tatou in New York City.
