''ONE'' is the first extended play by Welsh recording artist Charlotte Church. It is the first in a series of four EPs and marks another musical direction of Church, departing her pop sound that is heard in her last two albums ''Tissues and Issues'' and ''Back to Scratch''. This marks her first alternative rock material. It was released on 3 September 2012 and is preceded by the lead single "How Not to Be Surprised When You're a Ghost". ''ONE'' and ''TWO'' were combined for a US release on 12 March 2013. Church promoted ''ONE'' and ''TWO'' in the US with her first North American performances in almost a decade. Charlotte Maria Church (born Charlotte Maria Reed, 21 February 1986) is a Welsh singer-songwriter, actress, television presenter and political activist from Cardiff. Church rose to fame in childhood as a classical singer before branching into pop music in 2005. By 2007, she had sold more than 10 million records worldwide including over 5 million in the United States. In 2010, she was reported to be worth as much as £11M (though one 2003 report quoted her worth at £25M). She hosted a Channel 4 chat show titled ''The Charlotte Church Show''. Indie Pop
Indie pop (also typeset as indie-pop or indiepop) is a music genre and subculture that combines guitar pop with DIY ethic in opposition to the style and tone of mainstream pop music. ''Back to Scratch'' is the sixth studio album from Welsh people, Welsh singer-songwriter Charlotte Church. The album was released on 25 October 2010, five years after the release of Church's fifth studio album ''Tissues and Issues''. The album has been described by Church as having a "new different sound but also one that goes with my voice", Church has also described the album as more mature and as having a more "quirky" vibe than her final album. ''Tissues and Issues'' is the fifth studio album by the Welsh singer Charlotte Church released by Sony BMG UK in the United Kingdom on 11 July 2005 and by Daylight Records and Epic Records in the United States on July 12, 2005.
