Once Niñas Y Niños
Once Niñas y Niños (''Eleven Girls and Boys'') is a Mexican children's television network owned by the Instituto Politécnico Nacional. It is a companion to the Canal Once public television network. Once Niñas y Niños is broadcast as a subchannel on the IPN's Canal Once transmitters and is a required channel for carriage on all pay television systems in Mexico; it also airs a programming block of children's programs on the main Canal Once channel. History Canal Once launched Once Niños as its first digital subchannel on August 24, 2015. The channel would serve as an extension of the main channel's original children's programming for children between the ages of four and twelve; overnight, between midnight and 6am, it would not air programming, but instead an image inviting kids to go to sleep. Once (Eleven; formerly Once TV México and Canal Once) is a Mexican educational broadcast television network owned by National Polytechnic Institute. The network's flagship station is XEIPN-TDT channel 11 in Mexico City. It broadcasts across Mexico through nearly 40 TV transmitters and is required carriage on all Mexican cable and satellite providers. The network also operates an international feed which is available in the United States and Venezuela via satellite from DirecTV and CANTV, via online from VEMOX, VIVOplay and also on various cable outlets, on "Latino" or "Spanish" tiers. The ''Sistema Público de Radiodifusión del Estado Mexicano'' (Mexican State Public Broadcasting System, abbreviated SPR) until 2014, is an independent Mexican government agency. Its mission is to support the development of public broadcasting in the country and expand its coverage. It carries out this goal through ownership of a nationwide network of transmitters and the management of its own public television channel, Canal Catorce. It also owns four radio transmitters. XHZHZ-TDT
XHZHZ-TDT is a television station on channel 24 in Zacatecas, Zacatecas, operated by the (Zacatecan Radio and Television System, SIZART), a branch of the state government. The station is colocated with XHZH-FM 97.9 at the Instituto Zacatecano de la Cultura, with its transmitter on a tower shared with the SPR on Cerro de la Virgen. History The state government received the public use concession for XHZHZ in August 2015. The station was the first new TV station in Mexico, alongside XHUJAT-TDT, to receive a public use concession. Program testing began in December 2015. SIZART was formally created on January 13, 2016, and the station was to begin operations on February 15, making Zacatecas the 26th state to operate its own state network.
