"Once More, with Feeling" is the seventh episode of the sixth season of the supernatural drama television series ''Buffy the Vampire Slayer'' (1997–2003) and the only one in the series performed as a musical. It was written and directed by series creator Joss Whedon and originally aired on UPN in the United States on November 6, 2001. "Once More, with Feeling" explores changes in the relationships of the main characters, using the plot device that a demon—credited as "Sweet" but unnamed in the episode—compels the people of Sunnydale to break into song at random moments to express hidden truths. The title of the episode comes from a line sung by Sweet; once the characters have revealed their truths and face the consequences of hearing each other's secrets, he challenges them to "say you're happy now, once more, with feeling". All of the regular cast performed their own vocals, although two actors were given minimal singing at their request. "Once More, with Feeling" is the ... Once More With Feeling (Billy Eckstine Album)
''Once More with Feeling'' is a 1960 studio album by the American singer Billy Eckstine. It was arranged by Billy May and produced by Teddy Reig. Reception In his review for Allmusic John Bush wrote that Eckstine was "looking back more than forward by 1960" and highlighted the re-recordings of older Eckstine hits and film theme songs on the album. Bush added that "It may read like a desultory date, and indeed it would have been if not for the presence of a solid jazz band and the surprisingly sympathetic arrangements of big-brass auteur Billy May. Eckstine had fronted some strong bands in the past and consequently doesn't need to strain his voice to equal the energy behind May's charts, even on unexpected swingers like "Stormy Weather" and "I Hear a Rhapsody." "I Apologize," one of the two remakes, is treated with glimmering strings that certainly suggest the '40s but work in the context of the adult-pop era as well". ''Billboard'' magazine gave ''Once More with Feeling'' four sta ... [...More Info...]       [...Related Items...]     OR:     [Wikipedia]   [Google]   [Baidu]   |

Both Sides Now (Willie Nelson Album)
''Both Sides Now'' is the tenth studio album by country music, country singer Willie Nelson, released in 1970. Background With the dawn of the new decade, Nelson had not achieved the commercial success at RCA that he had hoped for. He gained a measure of fame writing songs that were hits for Faron Young ("Hello Walls"), Billy Walker (musician), Billy Walker ("Funny How Time Slips Away"), Patsy Cline ("Crazy (Willie Nelson song), Crazy"), and Roy Orbison ("Pretty Paper"), but most of his singles stalled on the charts, his biggest single at RCA being the Vegas-styled cover "Bring Me Sunshine," which hit number 13. His producer, RCA head Chet Atkins, had tried various approaches, from a live LP to a Texas-themed concept album, but success remained elusive.
