Omar Mussa (footballer, Born 2000)
Omar Mussa (born 20 August 2000) is a professional footballer who plays for English club Dagenham & Redbridge, as a midfielder. Born in Belgium, he plays for the Burundi national team. Club career After playing youth football for KV Mechelen, Mussa signed for English club Walsall in January 2019. He was released by Walsall at the end of the 2018–19 season, having made one Football League appearance for the club. On 26 October 2020, Mussa joined National League club Dover Athletic, after appearing in pre-season for the Kent side. The following day, Mussa came off the bench in the 75' minute of a 3–2 victory over Eastleigh to make his debut for the club. Following's Dover's decision to not play any more matches in the 2020–21 season, made in late January, and subsequent null and voiding of all results, on 5 May 2021 it was announced that Mussa was out of contract and had left the club. Midfielder
A midfielder is an outfield position in association football. Midfielders may play an exclusively defensive role, breaking up attacks, and are in that case known as defensive midfielders. The Football Association Challenge Cup, more commonly known as the FA Cup, is an annual knockout football competition in men's domestic English football. First played during the 1871–72 season, it is the oldest national football competition in the world. It is organised by and named after The Football Association (The FA). The 2022–23 National League season, known as the Vanarama National League for sponsorship reasons, will be the eighth season under English football's new title of the National League, the twentieth season consisting of three divisions, and the forty-fourth season overall. FA Trophy
The Football Association Challenge Trophy, commonly known as the FA Trophy, is a men's football knockout cup competition run by and named after the English Football Association and competed for primarily by semi-professional teams. The competition was instigated in 1969 to cater to those non-league clubs that paid their players and were therefore not eligible to enter the FA Amateur Cup. Eligibility rules have changed over time, but from 2008 onwards the competition has been open to clubs playing in Steps 1–4 of the National League System, equivalent to tiers 5–8 of the overall English football league system. The 2020–21 National League season, known as the Vanarama National League for sponsorship reasons, is the sixth season under English football's new title of the National League, the eighteenth season consisting of three divisions, and the forty-second season overall. The season follows the curtailed 2019–20 season, in which the league phase was uncompleted due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the play-offs only completed by 2 August 2020.
