Olivia Niamh Bell (born 12 November 2003) is an English-born Scottish cricketer who currently plays for North West Thunder and Scotland. She plays primarily as a right-arm off break bowler. Early life Bell was born on 12 November 2003 in Stockport, Greater Manchester. Domestic career Bell played age-group cricket for Cheshire between 2017 and 2022. In 2023, she appeared for Scotland A in the Twenty20 Cup, taking three wickets in her four matches, including 2/15 from her four overs against Derbyshire. In 2022, she was named in the North West Thunder Academy for the first time. She was again named in the Academy squad in 2023. She was first named in a matchday squad for the senior team on 20 May 2023. She made her debut for the side on 31 May 2023, against Southern Vipers in the Charlotte Edwards Cup. Stockport is a town and borough in Greater Manchester, England, south-east of Manchester, south-west of Ashton-under-Lyne and north of Macclesfield. 2023 Charlotte Edwards Cup
The 2023 Charlotte Edwards Cup was the third edition of the Charlotte Edwards Cup, an English women's cricket Twenty20 domestic competition, which took place between 18 May and 11 June 2023. It featured eight teams playing in a round-robin group stage, followed by a Finals Day. It ran alongside the Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy, as well as featuring double-header matches with the men's T20 Blast. The Ireland women's cricket team represents Ireland in international women's cricket. Cricket in Ireland is governed by Cricket Ireland and organised on an All-Ireland basis, meaning the Irish women's team represents both Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. The 2022 ICC Women's T20 World Cup Qualifier is an international women's cricket tournament that is scheduled to be held in 2022. It will be the fifth edition of the Women's T20 World Cup Qualifier and will serve as the qualification tournament for the 2023 ICC Women's T20 World Cup tournament. The 2023 ICC Under-19 Women's T20 World Cup was the first edition of the ICC Women's Under-19 Cricket World Cup, hosted by South Africa in 2023. The tournament was moved from its original slot at the end of 2021 to January 2023 because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Sixteen teams competed in the tournament, initially divided into four groups. India, England, Australia and New Zealand progressed to the semi-finals of the competition. In the semi-finals, India beat New Zealand by 8 wickets and England beat Australia by 3 runs. The 2022 ICC Under-19 Women's T20 World Cup qualification were a series of regional qualification tournaments to determine the final four places at the 2023 ICC Under-19 Women's T20 World Cup. Qualification tournaments were held in Africa, Asia, East-Asia Pacific and Europe. The Americas region qualifier was scratched and the United States qualified automatically as they were the only ICC associate member in the region who met the ICC's Event Pathway Participation Criteria.
