Olive Lembe Di Sita
Marie Olive Lembe di Sita (born 29 July 1976) is the former First Lady of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. She was the long-term girlfriend of Congolese President Joseph Kabila whom she married on 17 June 2006, becoming her country's First Lady. In 1998, a daughter was born to the couple, Sifa Kabila, named after Kabila's mother, and former first lady Sifa Mahanya. Wedding On 1 June 2006, the head of the Maison Civile, Theo Mugalu, officially announced the wedding of Ms. Lembe di Sita to the President. Two different dates emerged, some reports stating 10 June 2007, and other stating 10 June 2006. The wedding eventually took place on 17 June 2006 at the Presidential residence, in La Gombe, Kinshasa. Kinshasa (; ; ln, Kinsásá), formerly Léopoldville ( nl, Leopoldstad), is the capital and largest city of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The Church of Christ in the Congo or CCC (in French, or ECC), is a union of 62 Protestant denominations, in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Within the Democratic Republic of the Congo, it is often simply referred to as the Protestant Church, as it federates the vast majority of the Protestants in that country. Pierre Marini Bodho (born 30 March 1938, in Zeu, Ituri Province, Ituri), was the Presiding Bishop of the Church of Christ in Congo and former List of Presidents of the Senate of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, President of the Senate of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. La Gombe (Kinshasa)
Gombe or La Gombe is a municipality (''Communes of Kinshasa, commune'') in the Lukunga district of Kinshasa, the capital city of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. It was formerly known as Kalina, after Lieutenant E. Kallina - an Austro-Hungarian soldier who volunteered in the Congo Free State. Gombe is bounded on the north by the Congo River and in the south by the Boulevard du 30 Juin. Gombe is both a residential area and Kinshasa's business district. Originally the place that housed colonial administrative offices, ''cités indigènes,'' neighborhoods meant for non-colonists, formed around the neighborhood. Joseph Kabila Kabange ( , ; born 4 June 1971) is a Congolese politician who served as President of the Democratic Republic of the Congo between January 2001 and January 2019.
