Odisha University of Agriculture and Technology (OUAT) was established in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India in 1962. It is the second oldest agricultural university in the country. It is dedicated to agriculture related research, extension and education. The University has 11 constituent colleges. The University has separate wings for research, extension services and planning, monitoring & evaluation, etc. Campuses OUAT has four academic campuses across Odisha. One at Bhubaneswar, one at Chiplima, Sambalpur, one at Rangeilunda, Brahmapur, Odisha and a new one (made in 2009) in Bhawanipatna. The main academic and administrative unit is at the heart of Bhubaneswar (Latitude : 20° 15'N, Longitude : 85° 52' E), the capital city of Odisha. Governor Of Odisha
The governor of Odisha is the head of state and representative of the president of India in the Indian state of Odisha. The governors have similar powers and functions at the state level as those of the President of India at central level. They exist in the state appointed by the President of India for a term of 5 years and they are not local to the state that they are appointed to govern. The factors based on which the President evaluates the candidates is not mentioned in the constitution. Baidyanath Misra
Baidyanath Misra (1920-2019) was an Indian economist, educationist, author, and administrator from the state of Odisha. He served as the Vice-Chancellor of the Odisha University of Agriculture and Technology, Deputy-Chairman of Odisha State Planning Board, Chairman of Odisha's First State Finance Commission, Secretary of Odisha State Welfare Board, founder Secretary and President of Orissa Economics Association, and the founder Director and Chairman of Nabakrushna Choudhury Centre for Development Studies.
